Well, I have only been to a couple concerts and this is my first one since I have been married for 10 years this Aug.

Not sure if all concerts are as good as Carrie’s or not but boy did she rock.

Josh Turner opened the concert and he was very good although not the star that she is and he isn’t as good looking…sorry ladies. Josh T sang for about 40+minutes and then Carrie made an outstanding entrance from the stage and singing Flat on the Floor.

The concert was SOOOO loud and TOOO loud. I like loud music but come on her voice sounded a little distorted at some points because the music was so loud.

Anyways, she did every song off Carnival Tour and sang Jesus Take the Wheel. At the end when she disappeared and we thought the concert was over she came out of the stage floor with a MSU jersey on…nice touch Carrie. She then sang November Rain and Paradise City followed by her mega hit – Before He Cheats.

Can’t wait to see her in concert again.

Tennessee has so many falls and Burgess Falls was only about 15 minutes from Cookeville. This picture was 1 of 140 photos taken. The mist from the falls with the sun made a great photo.

The vacation was a full week but could have been longer. TN is a beautiful state and the weather was awesome.

Well, Tami and I were shopping at Walmart the other day and saw this toy at half price. THIS would be a great Easter present for the kids. It would last a while too since it was for ages 4-9. Well, as you can guess I couldn’t wait until Easter to give it to them so here they are using it now.

It is really neat. Fisher~Price makes it. It is the Digital Arts & Crafts Studio. You can also limit how many prints the kids can do…thank you God. They would use up all the ink.

Grant lost a front tooth

Well, Grant wanted his top front tooth out before his dentist appointment. Tami tried tying dental floss to his tooth and pulling but the dental floss got stuck around his tooth. At this point he starting to cry. I came in with some pliers but that made it worse. We gave up and let him go to bed. We did cut off the dental floss hanging from his tooth.

After I got to work shortly after Tami called and said that his tooth came out while eating some cantalope. He is quite proud of his little gap.

To the love of my life…of course I am talking about my wife.

We haven’t got much snow for years but Sunday morning we got a lot of snow..about 12 inches. We ALL had fun playing out in the snow. Lauren and I went out first and went sledding. She had a blast and about an hour later Tami and Grant joined us. Of course, Maggie and Daisy were out there with us. Everytime Tami went down the hill Maggie would chase her and lick her in the face.

For some reason Lauren thought it would be a lot of fun to keep throwning handfuls of snow in my face. I just overreacted to her snow throwing and she thought it was so funny.

I recorded a few moments that I will post on Youtube soon and provide the links from here.

Every year we look forward to visiting the Peacock Tree Road Farm in Lainsburg, MI. It is quite a drive out there and sometimes the wintery roads are rough but it is a special time for me and my family.

We always go and pick out some expensive tree for our mom and dad’s house. This time they pretty much had the tree picked out before we got there.

We were kinda of bummed this year because now they charge for wagon rides and going to see Santa is a waste of time and money because I’m sure the kids will still cry.

This is my first time hunting and it was more fun than I thought it would be. I got up at 5:30 and was over at my father-in-laws place at 6am. We toted all of our stuff out to the woods. I had a handful (coffee thermos, chair, gun,etc.). It was my first time so I had no idea what to bring out. Around 8:30am or so I heard a loud nearby shot. It was Denny. After a few minutes he came to my blind. I headed over to see what he had shot. It was a 10 point buck and a nice one! Watch Denny gut this deer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBiB2xfTvZg

I didn’t see any deer that day but saw 5 turkeys.

Well, here is my new setup – 2 LCDs. One is 17″ and one is 19″. Unforunately this is a pic from work and not home. Now I want a setup like this at home but probably not anytime soon.
